architecture
I am affected by how we experience things and create memories. I am drawn to authenticity. My formal training as an architect enables me to see these relationships in places often deemed mundane or pedestrian. I see lines and organizations, shapes, color and color-relationships, layers, transparency, and texture, in a formal sense. I look for “space” in my work as a way to inhabit a painting.
